CQFD Composites won the JEC Innovation Awards 2015 in the Automotive Safety category
Developed for Hyundai Motors (European Technical Center), this unique novel concept is opening the route for next generation of structural thermoplastic parts obtained from straight or curved reactive thermoplastic pultrusion produced at CQFD Composites.
Based on a A-PA6 Reactive thermoplastic pultrusion, this concept brings about 3,5 kgs weight saving comparing to steel solutions at equal performances and competitive cost in a glass fibre configuration.
A multi-processes, multi-materials and multi-partners project engineered between Hyundai, Plasticomnium, Arkema and CQFD Composites to bring breakthrough, economical and weight saving solutions to the automotive industry.
